Adrian's Professional Journey

Background

Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona. Hired by Boeing upon graduation, he began his professional career as a systems engineer, writing requirements and testing inertial navigation systems. He soon transferred into software engineering, where he developed software for a variety of Navy and Air Force programs, as well as a couple of NASA projects.

Engineering journey

Some of the more prominent programs Adrian has worked on include: Navy ESGN Navigation Systems, Ring Laser Gyro Navigators (RLGN), Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) GPS Radio, Air Force XSS-10 Micro Satellite System, Navy Long-term Mine Reconnaissance System (LMRS), Navy Poseidon P-8A ASW Acoustics Displays, and NASA VESTA Ground Station for the Boeing Starliner.

Creative journey

Along the way, Adrian indulged his creative side: writing, painting, and photography. His writing began as a college hobby - short stories and essays - and now has evolved into novels. In 1996, he launched his own photography studio, Photographic Impressions, specializing in portraits (general and bridal). As his creative journey evolved, he ventured into airbrushing (on canvas, metal, car panels, and just about anything else), graphic design, oils, and acrylics. Though he still paints and takes occasional photography projects, his main focus is now writing.
